Laptop Keyboard Problem

Hello,

My friends laptop's keyboard suddenly went haywire and now she blames me for telling her to download a codec pack which (I think was totally harmless).

So, everytime she types, some keys work oddly like I turns into 5 or O turns into 6 and some characters turn into *^ symbols and etc.

Please help!

Hi there,

Uninstall the application and make a system restore and in control panel set keyboard layout to US.
