HOW DO YOU USE THE ORANGE PART THE FUNCTION KEYS ON DELL INSPIRON 1564? Please help!

in the BIOS change the multimedia key to function first

start panel --> adjust commonnly used mobility setting or windows mobility center--> change function keys to function keys

J use them normally on my inspiron 1564 with win7 configuration. Perhaps you need some drivers from dells website?
