ITunes installation error message

Hello,

I am having problems installing iTunes 9.2.
Each time in install it and then go to open iTunes an error message comes up and tells me that Itunes has not been installed correctly and that if I wish to import or burn CD's I need to reinstall it.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times and each time the same message appears.
If I ignore the message and open iTunes to listen to anything after several minutes it shuts down with a blue screen.
Help!!!!
