LAPTOP Shutting off

Hello,

I have a notebook laptop. I dont know why but it shut off suddenly when i moved it up a bit. The laptop is from my school, my school borows studets laptops to use it at home. I received this laptop just yesterday! and today it just went off when i liftd it up. I tried everything, but i am not a computer/laptop genius. CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME SOLVING THIS PROBLEM???? I hope so.
