I need to add someone back, help

I have deleted someone but they are still on my allow list, and they still have me on their list, i would like to add this person back to my contact list, but i dont want them to get a notification, in these blogs you have said many times the person wont get a notification, but i have done this one other time with someone that was still on my allow list, and they did get a notification that i added them back to my contact list, can some one please tell me for sure if they will be notified or not?? ty
