How to swap local hard drive

Hello,

Hi please can some one xplain to me how to swap local hard drive I did a system restore and my computer went back to the old har drive and is bery slow

Hi thanks for the replay like I said I did a system restore and the computer went to the old hard drive on the old hard drive it has XP professional installed and on the new har drive it has XP home edition my compuer is a intel pentium.
