how can i save pics from camera to laptop Closed

Hello, i have a HP Photosmart camera and i am able to view the pics on the laptop while the camera is connected but im having trouble figuring out how to save the pics to my laptop i am not very smart when it comes to computers and this is the 1st time having a laptop and a digital camera and i have no clue how to save pics to the laptop please someone help me  



Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Please consider using a card reader or still have the cam's driver installed to have the files transferred.
