Laptop turns off suddenly

Hello,
I have Sony Viao...It turns off when I copy big files from Data card, when I start internet, when I play HD movies, when I fast forward the movie....It can now copy files from USB drive and can play movies for hours but if i do anything from listed above...boop..it's off...please help...

Your computer memory could be getting full. Just go to start, click My Computer/Your Computer Name. The Local Disc should show up and a bar/percent should show how much your computer has used and free space. If it is not becoming full, check to see if your internet is updated.

I checked the Memory I have enough space available....Laptop switches off when I play HD movies which are already on the hard disk and the it gets hot at the bottom...but surprisingly if play movies for hours(not HD) it works fine...also, I cannot copy files from SD card..only USB works fine...
