Mozillo Sign On Page Not Pulling Up

I can double click on mozillo icon and a small size picture comes up above icon. It is the sign on screen for mozillo. I try to x it out and it won't work. I double click again and a flash goes across HP screen to the right and double click again and flash comes back across to the right of the tiny screen flashing back and forth as long as I double click. I have uninstalled and installed mozillo by somehow stopping mozillo from running and then uninstall and install as message comes up running when I go to uninstall. How do I fix this? I have windows 7 HP computer.

Yes internet explorer would work but I do not care for it. It is strange to operate for me. Possibly because nothing is set up. Anyhow as I was on trying to work on firefox a screen came up that said mozillo firefox was running in safemode and there were about 5 items I could choose from and check and it would be permanent. I am sorry but I just checked them all and whatever it did allowed firefox to shut down immediately. Then I started it back up and all was as three days before. I wish I were more knowledgeable about computers and I may have closed all the tabs way back in the beginning when shutting down and not suppose to at the end as it always asks. But thank you for trying to start helping me. The strangest thing is I uninstalled 3.6 and installed 3.5 and it did not help even. The program was still running and I can not figure how you can uninstall and reinstall and all go back as if you had never done anything. Somewere someone mentioned they had problems with the new firefox and went back to 3.5. I am just going to leave it alone at 3.5 for now.
