Asus ee pc

Hello, i have an asus eee pc which was playing up the past few days kept turning off mangaed to sort that out but ever since when you start it up the wifi light flashes on then it goes off. Meaning it wont connect to internet. also have noticed when i press fn and f2 button to enable wifi it makes the screen go dark seems buttons are all mixed up. tried pressing every combination to get wifi back on but to no avail. do you think i need a new wifi card??
