i m having problem.ihad installed linux on my laptop but now i m not able to install xp .after i m booting frm windows xp cd a black screen comes......no booting options come...plzzzzz help me out

hi a question first did u install any other soft ware to allow u have two operating stsyem in yr pc

drive has linux file system Win installer doen't like. need to run low level format (disk pack) on drive

Why cant you guys give a straight answer in plain English? 

I have the same issue, and im looking all over the web for a way to get rid of Linux from my laptop and re-install XP. Thats all i want to do, i have the XP CD, so all i want to know is... how do i tell the stupid Linux to BOOT from the XP CD? 

Not everyone is as technical as others, so please in plain english with some detail or step-by-step instructions would be nice.
