No sound from speakers?
Closed
Hi all,
Whenever I try to play a sound on my computer, be it music, video or Window sounds, I can hear nothing. The little wavy bits are going up and down on the volume mixer, I've tried a couple of different headphone and and speaker sets, my device isn't disabled (I've disabled it and re-enabled the thing)... any ideas?
Cheers

First Check to see if the mute is on. Then make sure the cable is in the right slot. If not then. It could be that your computer is using two sound cards? Go into the control panel and see if there are different sound playbacks you can choose from. go thru a few settings and make sure the sounds coming out of the right playback card
