in many case pocket hdd wire may be damage and some and few time short usb port damage hard disk. i have faced this proble . we can get extr wire in market to purchase. there is small and usb two type of port is used. if your port is damage and not aviable to purchase wire , you can purchase hdd case with wire. thanks
