Hello,
sir i am facing a problem in my ibm laptop..
iam getting a clock after ibm think pad.. can't access display plzz help me what can i do to access the display. i did installed the ghost setting in my laptop but now iam unable to install the window because there are not display. urgent help needed

Is there any error number that is being displayed ?

no sir there are only lock after the ibm think pad display. my sir tell me that this is teh freezing problem. but i dont think so.. can you help me.. if i trying to type some thing below the lock but after that i saw a hand with stoped. plzz help me iam very tensed

Is it showing the correct date and time ?

old ibm thinkpad - turned on yesterday and all i got was blank screen except for 2 icons in the upper left corner - a screen and a padlock. no curser and a "beep" when i touch any key. battery dead - running on a/c.
any ideas? help plzzzzzzzzzzzz

go to bios and load default settings.
set the date and time in bios --> save the bios settings.

sir i cant access f1 setup also because when iam touching any key the bip sound appeard. plzz do something

now iam not geting ibm think pad also.. only getting black screen ..

i think this is problem is an electricity shock. cant do anything my exames are near plzz do somthing for me

If the problem still exits,

Remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back properly or try another

slot.
