Is your screen black? Does the screen show anything at all? If it doesn't then you might try changing or borrowing a graphics card.If that doesn't help then i am afraid that your motherboard has some bad issues.Take to it to an expert.It is really tough to solve this problem with this little information that you've provided.Hope you understand!!!

I am afraid that Awesomesoccerfan is correct. If you have a laptop, try to look at your screen from the side with a flash light spotting on the opposite site. You may see a faint image fo your desktop. Your monitor lights may need to be replaced.
