My Dell Inspiron 600 will not turn on

Hello,
I have had this Dell Inspiron 600 for about 4 years! Yesterday i used it in the morning turned if off and later when i went to use it it wouldn't turn on!! I thought it was the power so i plugged it in and trying to turn it on and i has done the following, i pree the power botton and the green pwer light comes on with the green cap bottom it blinks for 10second and then shuts right off!! can anyone please help me i have very important photo i would like to get off!!

Hi there,

Remove the battery press the power button to drain the remaining power from it,then connect adapter and power on,as soon as powered on make a safe shut down and connect back the battery.
