Laptop shut off

Hello,

hi i have a HP windows vista G60 and it just shut down, I did teh steps you mention about unpluggin and taking battery out and turn it back on without it. It worked, but when I put the battery back in it said i had 3% power adn it shut off again, could this be because the battery needs to be replace cuz it works fine until i try to put the battery back.

PLEASE HELP!!

Hi there,

After inserting the battery you need also to connect the adapter as it depends how much charge is remaining on it.
