Hello, today my desktop items and start menu have disappeared and all i can see is my background, I've opened up the task manager and tried to run explorer.exe but it tells me it cant find it, Ive tried restoring my computer to yesterday but it doesn't make a difference, I've looked in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution.options for an explorer.exe file but there isn't.
I really need some help on how to fix this without losing any data on my pc
