Blank monitor

Hello,

I am curious about why my Hp monitor w2207h hdmi monitor goes blank after a few minutes/hours whilst in use. I recently installed a new intel celeron motherboard on my hp computer.

Monitor goes blank from the first day pc was used it doesn't occur everyday.
please assist.

Dear Vickie,

It might be a problem coming from your graphic card or battery being faulty.

many thanks. Will take it to service centre. I thought it might be as a result of windows 7 cause it worked fine with vista. I reinstalled hp software but it still goes blank

take your monitor to HP service center for better solution.
