My laptop: blank screen and no hdd lights

Hello,



I closed the lid of my laptop without switching off or shutting down. and also it fells of my bed! now when I open the lid the power light was still their and their was a blank screen. absolutely nothing on it..! so I switched off by hold power key for about more then 10 secs. and turn it back on...didn't help.

did basic trouble shoot as advised by most ppl. took off battrey and tried opening just with power cord didn't help.

it switch on's with the battery and without battery as well but I don't see any thing on the screen. tried using external monitor...! no luck.

now I realized its not reading my hard drive...hard drive indicator is not flashing like how it did before.

normally when I switch on my laptop power lights and hdd lights flash for few secs and stay solid untill I close back or shutdown.

so I wonder is my hdd is gone or just got missed placed inside coz it fell of my bed...
