Pen drive write protect

Hello,

i have iball pen drive,my pen drive file system is corrupted.so it is in raw file system.
so,i download hp disk storage format tool.
when i try to partition the usb drive by using that tool,it says device media is write protected.........................pls tell me a answer

Hi there,

You definitely need to remove write protection before proceeding,for removal instructions are already provided on Faq:
