Memory card problem

Hi there - I uploaded my videos and photos to my laptop and cannot now see them on my camera, even though they are still there because when I put the memory card in the laptop, there they are! I can't even transfer them back from laptop to memory card because there isn't enough memory as the images are still there somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas please?
