Wireless router hardware is not detected

Hello,

I am using a Compaq Q1895 and a Belkin Basic Wireless Router. My router was working fine until a few days ago when I began getting a message saying that my wireless router's hardware was undetected. It said to look on my computer for a wireless switch, but I'm not sure if it has one because it's a desktop. I tried re-downloading the Belkin software, but it's not helping. Any advice would be great.
