Change system fine raw to ntfs

Hello,
I recently purchased a 64 gb pendrive (Kingston) . I tried to format it, but during formatting its file system changed into RAW from NTFS and not formatted at all. It is not opening at all, showing the "disk is not formatted". When I am triyng to format it in NTFS it is showing pendrive cannot be formatted.

Please helpme to overcome this problem.

Dear Sanjay,

It should be that there is write protection on the pen drive. Please confirm the issue and have it removed through the following instructions.

Hi there,

If its in raw system file then you need to access it in disk management and create a new partition/drive selecting ntfs system,to get there,right click on my computer >manage and select disk management.Now right click on device which in raw ,select create new partition.If the device is write protected then have the help of Faq to remove it then do the procedure as explained:
