sony web cam dvd files not recognized by pcClosed

Hello, 

We have SONY web cam  model  DCR-DVD610.  DVD containing the vedio clips are not detected by PC.  but the same clips are being palyed by web cam.   Please provide any solution.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Murthy, 

Your post is quite confusing, you have not precised whether they are not being recognized or detected. Still if they are not being recognized, it might be that the format of the videos are not supported on the specific video player that you are using. Please indicate of which format the videos are. I will also advise you to get download the following video player and check whether the videos play on it.

Hi there,

Its not a webcam but a handycam,what is the real issue?clips are not played on pc or other?please provide more information on the issue that you are facing with the device,
