Toshiba stuck on wecome screen

Hello,

I was doing an automatic update and had to restart my computer... since then it has been stuck on the wecome screen saying "please wait" for 2 days now I have taken out the battery and restarted it several times... it still ill not work... it is a toshiba satellite L300 stuck on screen... HELP

Sounds like a virus or a boot up problem.. First try using the Windows recovery cd that came with the laptop and see if the repair program will fix that problem.
