Any knowledge out there about getting the Fn F8 (Volume control) on the Gateway LT2016U to respond?
(I know, how vague is that..)
The computer just came back from the repair center with a new keyboard, everything was working fine, all systems go, until yesterday, when the Fn F8 stopped responding. At first, no Fn functions were working, but then I noticed a @#*&% pine needle wedged in under the Shift and Fn keys. Got that out, all other Fn functions now work. Checked the system volume control to see if it was set on mute (it was). Unclicked that. Still no response from the Fn F8.
