Usb kingston data traveller NOT READ

Hello,

i bought yeaterday an usb kingston data traveller 2gb an G2 type which i needed for my school report. i inserted it and no icon appeared on my computer screen and can not read from my computer but to other office computer i used ..it opens and i my able to work. i wonder , why???? what will i do ---in my personal computer, the usb i bouhgt will be use. is there things to be done so my usb can read on my personal compuetr rather than to other comp? please help me what to do....
