Hello,
i am just wondering how i would go about completely wiping my laptop so that i can re-install vista?
my laptop keeps telling me that an error occurred while installations and that the computer restarted and thats the only message i get. i have tried installing vista and still the same message i have also tried using combofix and ubuntu and linux and still nothing.

any ideas? please? :(

Hi there,

Try using another installation cd or use an external dvd rom drive to format the machine if still having issues ,.
