Hello,
I have a 3g broadband dongle that I use to connect my laptop to the internet. I have been trying for a while now to connect my ps3 through my laptop to the internet. I have followed all the instructions about activating sharing tabs and internet connection settings on the ps3 itself. I have tried many different ethernet leads and also a different laptop and still no sucess. I am beginning to give up hope. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I should have mentiond that the connextion test falls at the first hurdle, the message reads that the attempt to obtain an ip address has timed out

It picks up the I.P if, u set the PC's Lan network tcp/ip static to windows default 192.168.0.1 and on the PS3 to automatic the problem is with bridging the two networks. Needs sum form of Proxy or DNS server set up ? ? ?
