If I want to disable my Hotmail account, can I save all of my messages first?

Thanks

Hi there,

If using outlook yes you can backup them and if on hotmail then send them to another email address.

Thanks

I don't want to send them to another email as am concerned that I have a hacker and they would then see the other email address.
Is there a way of just selecting the whole lot and dumping them onto an external drive or something?

Hello,

You could actually get the creating a back up folder for getting the the files saved on it.

Then, get through your Outlook Express and get to Tools> Options> Maintenance> Store Folder. All the files will hence be saved over there.

Thanks.
