Hello,
I have a PC that runs on Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3, and the Model itself is an Intel (R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.8 GHz 2068GHz, 512Mb of Ram.

My pc is practically acting as if it never knew such a thing as Sound DEVICE.
I have tried everything. I reinstalled my PC. I tried disabling my Audio and Games Device on Device Manager on System<Control Panel.
I have checked that my stereo is wired properly.
I have tried to install Realtek or other audio deviced from the internet but no such luck.
Does my PC have to have ONLY sound device that can only work?
i rtried googling but there are so many.

Can someone please HELP me.
You would be the greatest and most ...kind
thank you

Hello, the problem is coming from the fact that you are unable to have the right compatible driver and you should make use of t he Driver Detective application so that it traces back the drivers that you need.

Hello,

Driver Detective will identify the driver for you but to get the driver with Driver Detective you will need to purchase the license.

Did you have sound before? When and how did the problem occur?

If you have a sound card, what are the specs?
