Hello pcsces and Ved,
If I may butt in for a second.
Many users have reported a similar issue. The problem sourced from a faulty electronic circuit which only a qualitfied technician can repair, this is another avenue to consider, at least to get a diagnostic before attempting a system recovery.
Best regards

I guess this time the only way straight forward I see for your situation is to make a system recovery to make this possible you need recovery cd for your system ,boot from it and have the instructions onscreen followed. How can you have no previous restore point?did you recently make installation of windows on it?
Thanks
