Computer keeps shutting off !

Hello,

Im having a serious problem with my emachine computer . It keeps shutting off and it doesn't try to restart . It happens when windows microsoft tries to boot up . I tried using safe mode but it doesn't work now either. I have vista home premium. I remember using microsoft fix it, trying to speed up and clean my system . and I upgraded my avg antivirus before all this happened. I really need help getting my computer up and running again . thanks!

Hi. check your CPU fan.... My friend had the same problem on her E-machine.

Hello,

As Art says... is you fan running? It could be an overheat problem. Do you get any error message? Do you get a blue screen?

All of those questions must be answered before any help can be provided.

Hello,
my toshiba laptop screen suddenly went blank,now everytime I try an turn it on it instantly shuts down within a second,i cant get into any kind of safety mode,as soon as I press the on switch the green light comes on and then it shuts down...please help

My computer turns off automatically!

hey, my computer automatically turns off whenever I play any game for about few minutes!!!! I don't know why it keeps turning off. If i'm using the internet or any lighter softwares it stays on even for a day. I ain't sure with my fan but it seems ok. Can you guys please tell me the possible problems????

Hello,
i have the same problem , but i already have removed the battery, and it continues shutting off.... i do not whether is something with the system or what it is . but it happens to me all the time...... i thought i would probably be some drivers or so , but i installed all of them and updated the operative system and still happens....... i do not know what else to cjeck...Thanks

Laptop shut off, will not turn back on

Hello,
I have a gateway laptop,it was plugged in and charging and on, and it sudddenly just shut off and now will not turn back on. I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but I will mention that I mistakenly tried to put my cellphone charger in the USB port (haha it was dark) right around the time it shut off. Can someone please tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?
