Hello,
My quite old Windows XP laptop that used to run 98 has started beeping after the DELL screen comes up. It really scared me the first time and I thought it would just start up normally. I haven't used it for about 2 weeks, and just when I need to do something... That happens! PLZ help!!

Hello,
Try this 1
1) Try to clean all the vents, blow out with canned air. Make sure there is no
dust in the CPU Fan.
Never run your laptop on bag & bed. Sides, back and bottom must be clear.
2) Go to BIOS --> Load default settings --> Save & Exit from BIOS.
