Hi,
You mean reset laptop to factory settings?For this use your recovery cd and boot from it in numerical order by which all data on system will be deleted therefore a backup is to be made if you have important data on it or press on start >all programs>hp recovery manager or on booting press on F11 key or Esc then F11 depending on laptop model.
