Hello,
I did a system recovery on my husband's hp pavilion dv6500 laptop (w/ vista - 32 bit) because he'd had numerous problems for the year he's owned it. Did this three weeks ago and everything is running great. Last night he showed me a message that says his hard drive is almost full -- and that the 160 GB C: drive is now only 24 GB. I hadn't looked at it after system recovery, so I have no idea if this is a result or not. Suggestions?

The restore might have changed the partition size. VISTA is able to fix this problem.

right click COMPUTER on the desk top
click MANAGE
click DISK MANAGEMENT
right click disk 0 (your c: drive)
select Extend Volume and follow the instructions

that should extend the C partition so that it uses all the hard disk.

Good Luck
