Hi Lila,
Your laptop, that is, the Dell Latitude D610 is equipped with an Undock & Go feature which allows you to benefit of a seamless transition to wireless networking and of course work anywhere at anytime. To turn it on, please find the wireless key at the left side of the laptop, turn it on by pressing Fn and the F2 button simultaneously.
If ever the wireless radio needs to be toggled, please get through Start> Settings> Control Panel> Right click on Wireless Network Connection Icon> Properties> Configure> Advanced tab and set it right.
Hope that the information provided solves the matter, otherwise do not hesitate to hit back!
