internet explorer will not pull up Closed

Hello, 

I have the HP Media Center PC. I can not get my internet to come up when I click on the internet explorer. The hour glass symbol comes up then leaves but internet will not come up. Can you help me please!  I have a laptop also internet comes up on it 

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Greatings,

Open IE and go to Tools/Internet Options/Connections/LAN Settings. I haven't had to do it this way but I'll assume they are the same. Hope it helps.

Let me know if the problem is fix or not.
