Aspire one with no sound

Hello,

i recently just formated my acer aspire one zg5 netbook and installed windows xp. i installed all the necessary driver but my PC isnt playing any sound

can anyone help me with a solution to this problem. all the sound codec are installed but the netbook isnt installing a PCI device which im guessing is the sound device
any help would be great

Hello, you need to have your sound drivers updated. It may be that it is the right comptible one. Get to your device manager, right click on it and have it updated.
