Hello,
Try this 1
1) If your OS is Windows XP then, click on the below link and download the file
https://download.cnet.com/s/kb888111xpsp2-exe/
Install it --> Restart your laptop --> Then try installing your audio drivers.
2) If the problem still exists, install the Chipset drivers first and then Audio
drivers. If the problem still exists, then update your BIOS.
