Hello,
Try this 1
Place the recovery CD in the drive --> restart your PC and keep pressing F2 or F12 key. When boot option appears then choose the first boot device as CD\DVD drive and press Enter.
Note : If you failed to get boot selection option after pressing F2 or F12 then when you switch ON your laptop
at the bottom of your screen look for the key that says boot selection or boot order.
OR
Go to Bios --> Change the first boot device as CD\DVD drive --> Save the settings and exit from BIOS.

Try this 1
