Hello

i have a Toshiba Satellite a300 with Vista. Yesterday, i tried installing a new program and it ask me to restart my laptop. Since then, i cant turn it on and i get a blue screen saying that a problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down with the stop number: 0x00000024 (0x001904AA, 0x8914f4c4, 0x8914f1c0, 0x8531a805)
ive tried removing the program, running antivirus on safe mode, the recovery system, the last know good configuration and the system restore but nothing work. I also tried chkdsk but it says that it's "intègre".
So if anyone could help me i would be really grateful

"Windows has been shut down to prevent damage"

Somehow this sounds to me like it could be a problem with malware.

There are some nice ones out there that suggest these things. I recently helped someone else with a similar one that was caused by Win Defrag malware.
If anywhere on the blue screen there is a suggestion that you could download or buy a tool to fix it, it definitely IS malware.
