AVG 8.0 make my compaq labtop no sound

Hello,
i have a problem with avg 8.0.
every time i install it into my Compaq laptop, my laptop will lose it sound.
is there any solution for this??

actually you can try disable the resident shield function in AVG 8.0
because the shield block ur sound function.
i try tis and it work!! (^^)v

dude i was also facing same problem....
i would lik to tell u soln to rectify it
uninstal avg and download panda antivirus
ur pblm ll be solved
