Laptop shows nothing wen turned on

Hello,



My laptop displays nothing when switched on. Only the num lock and caps lock keys are blinking every four seconds. When switching it off I have to press the switch button for about 10-30 seconds. Please help. I have a compaq v2000 laptop.

Unplug the power --> remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60

seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later

put the battery back into the laptop.

(your issue could be caused by static)
