How to repair on/off switch acer aspire One

My Acer aspire1 notebook will not ON when the on/off switch is press . Is it because of the hardware - the button - or some viruses have attack my notebook.
Age of unit just around 1 year. How much is the cost to repair the button in Malaysia.
