Keyboard problems

Hello, our cat laid on my wife's laptop last night and managed to reset some of the keys - for example the k is now 2 and the l is 3. does anyone know how i can reset the keys? the cat is refusing to tell us how she did it! It's a Toshiba laptop running xp home.
