But it can also be a problem done with overclocking. If you don't know what overclocking is, it's changing the computers hardware to operate out of manufacturer specifications. Its done to get some extra performance.
If you cannot get into vista, and everything is left at their default clocks (not-overclocked), go ahead and reinstall Windows Vista.
