Need help, powering on issues

Hello,
When i plug in the power cable to the computer. a green light comes on (most of the time) but when i go to press the on/off button the LED flashes real quick the fans and such make a lazy ass attempt to start but then everything stops and the light in the back goes out, there is no booting no nothing, help would be much appreciated

In this case there's definitely either a problem with your power supply( in the worst cases you'll need to change it) or there's some cable that are badly connected within your system unit.(plz check out all your cables)
