Hello,
I am trying to set up a second monitor with vista. Never tried this before. Have two nvidia geforce cards to make one card with a gig of vram. Plugged everything in and no signal. When I reboot Ican watch the boot cycle on both monitors but once windows takes over the 2nd monitor has no signal. Please help.

Have you gone to the "Nvidia Control Panel" to set-up the dual displays? You can find it in the Control Panel after you click on "classic view". Good Luck

when I go there the first option to set up the nview display mode has only one bullet to only use one display. Suppose this means dual monitors is not compatable with geforce 7950 GX2?

my second monitor stopped receiving signal . i have desktop with vista.
this is how i fixed it
1) shut off computer and monitors
2) unplug power cables from wallsocket and back of comp and monitor.
3) unplug video cables from back of comp and back of monitors.
4)wait about 10 minutes.
5)plug all cables back in.
6)start comp. and monitors :) 2ND monitor should work now

ps . after a month of trying different remedies i coudn't beleive it was this easy. ENJOY
